Former President John Dramani Mahama, alongside the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has contributed GH₵50,000 to the family of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba.
The donation was made during the final funeral rites held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, December 13. Supporters and well-wishers praised the gesture, describing it as a symbol of unity and compassion, and encouraged Ghanaians to come together to honor the national icon.
Daddy Lumba, celebrated as one of Ghana’s greatest musicians, leaves behind a remarkable legacy that continues to inspire generations. His funeral provided a solemn farewell, allowing family, friends, and fans to pay their respects to a cherished cultural figure.
