Majid Michel Says He Is Not An Ordained Pastor
Ghanaian actor Majid Michel has clarified that he is not an ordained pastor, despite media portrayals identifying him as one. The film star explained how the “pastor” label came about and what it actually means for him.
According to Michel, although he has often shared insights from the Bible at churches and events, he has never attended a Bible school or undergone any formal ordination process to become a pastor. He said the media began calling him a pastor after seeing him speak at church services and religious gatherings, which created the impression that he held an official pastoral role.
Michel explained that his engagement with Christianity grew from his own personal journey of studying the Bible and deepening his understanding of the faith. After discovering its teachings for himself, he felt compelled to share what he learned with others, which led to invitations to speak at different platforms. However, he emphasised that this activity does not make him an ordained religious leader.
While he rejects the title of pastor in the formal sense, Michel stressed that he remains a committed believer who sincerely follows Christian teachings. His comments aim to correct public perception and set the record straight about his role in religious circles.
