Mama Lordina Please Help Me Flowerpot Developer Breaks Down In Tears

A real estate developer operating around the Flowerpot Interchange in Accra has made an emotional appeal to First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama, calling for urgent intervention over challenges affecting his construction project.

The developer was seen in a video visibly distressed as he pleaded for assistance, stating that his investment has been severely impacted by ongoing disputes and administrative difficulties. According to him, delays linked to land documentation, permits, and disagreements with local authorities have stalled progress on the project and placed him under serious financial strain.

He explained that significant funds have already been committed to the development, including payments to contractors and workers. However, unresolved issues have left the project at a standstill, increasing debt obligations and pressure from financiers. The developer said the situation has taken a personal toll on him and his family, prompting his public appeal.

Addressing the First Lady respectfully as Mama Lordina, he appealed for support to help facilitate dialogue between the relevant stakeholders. He expressed hope that her intervention could help bring clarity and accelerate resolution of the matter.

The Flowerpot area has experienced rapid growth in recent years, leading to complex land and regulatory challenges. Observers note that disputes involving developers, landowners, and metropolitan authorities are not uncommon in fast developing parts of Accra.

As of now, there has been no official response from the Office of the First Lady. The incident has sparked wider conversations about land administration, investor protection, and the need for transparent regulatory processes in Ghana’s urban development sector.
