Paa George Expresses Pain Over Alleged Neglect From Emelia Brobbey
Veteran Kumawood actor Paa George has publicly shared his disappointment with actress Emelia Brobbey, claiming she has ignored him despite the help he once gave her earlier in her acting career.
Speaking during an interview on a Kumasi-based radio show, the actor said he feels hurt by what he describes as a lack of support from someone he believes he mentored in the movie industry. According to him, Emelia Brobbey was among the people he assisted when she was starting out, but their relationship appears to have changed over time.
Paa George explained that he has tried several times to contact the actress by phone, but she has not responded to his calls. The situation, he said, has left him confused and emotionally troubled because he does not understand what might have caused the distance between them.
The veteran actor stated that he had hoped for support from Brobbey, particularly during difficult moments in his life. He noted that some other colleagues in the Kumawood film industry occasionally reach out to him and even send financial assistance, but he claims he has never received such gestures from the actress.
Paa George also revealed that the issue weighs heavily on his mind because he once saw Brobbey as someone he guided in the industry. For that reason, he expected their professional relationship to grow into a supportive bond over the years.
Despite his disappointment, the actor appealed to Emelia Brobbey to get in touch with him so they can address whatever misunderstanding may exist. He explained that if she answered his calls, he would have the opportunity to express his feelings and understand the situation better.
At the time of the report, Emelia Brobbey had not publicly responded to the claims.
The remarks from the veteran actor have since sparked conversation online, with fans and industry observers sharing mixed reactions about the situation and the expectations of loyalty and support among colleagues in the entertainment industry.
