Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kofi Sarpong has publicly stated that in his career as a police officer he has never taken a bribe or compromised his integrity for money or favors. The senior officer made the comment in an interview while discussing his values, discipline, and commitment to ethical conduct in his work.

When asked whether he had ever been offered or pressured to take a bribe during his service, ACP Sarpong said he has never been tempted or approached with such offers. He emphasised that maintaining honesty and refusing any form of corruption are key principles for him both as an officer and in life.

ACP Sarpong, who is also known for his involvement in gospel music, spoke about how his personal beliefs and professional standards guide his actions. He noted that his faith and moral code help him resist corrupt influences that can sometimes affect enforcement agencies.
