This incident occurred at La Palm Royal Beach during Nana Boroo’s press conference announcing his achievement as the new Guinness World Record holder. A Hitz FM reporter present at the event was hit by military personnel. The soldiers then purposefully took his phone and destroyed all of the videos on it. The arrest caused significant chaos during an event meant for celebration.

Nana Boroo claimed that he managed Chef Smith and had been handling him throughout his cook-a-thon operations. This claim was the reason behind the arrest, adding more controversy to the situation. The sudden turn of events at the press conference shocked many attendees. The altercation overshadowed the announcement of the Guinness World Record achievement. Fans and media personnel are now questioning the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Ghanaian Chef Ebenezer Smith popularly known as Chef Smith has claimed he is currently the reigning Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, clocking an impressive 802 hours and 25 minutes.
