EOCO Confirms Abu Trica’s Extradition to the United States for Criminal Prosecution
The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has confirmed that Frederick Kumi, also known as Emmanuel Kojo Baah Obeng or Abu Trica, will be extradited to the United States to face criminal charges.
EOCO stated that the decision follows a thorough investigation into alleged criminal activities involving Abu Trica. The extradition process is in accordance with international legal agreements and reflects Ghana’s commitment to cooperate with global law enforcement agencies in combating transnational crime.
Authorities emphasized that due process will be followed throughout the extradition, ensuring that legal and procedural requirements are met before Abu Trica is handed over to US officials.
