“I Didn’t Kill My Friend” Bright Aweh Breaks Silence on Murder Case
Bright Aweh, the main suspect in the murder of Immigration Officer Stephen King Amoah, has publicly denied any involvement in the death, insisting he is innocent as the case continues in court.
Speaking after a recent court appearance, Aweh stated that he did not kill his friend and expressed confidence that the legal process will eventually clear his name. He described the situation as painful and emotionally draining but maintained that he is prepared to face the judicial process to prove his innocence.
The case dates back to July, when Amoah was reported missing after leaving home to meet someone he knew. Days later, his body was discovered in a remote area, prompting a police investigation that led to the arrest of Aweh and another accused individual, Thomas Zigah. Both men have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and murder.
Prosecutors allege that communication records and unresolved personal issues may have played a role in the events leading up to Amoah’s death. However, Aweh has consistently denied these claims, stating that he has been wrongly implicated and urging the public to allow the courts to determine the truth based on evidence.
