The black star who shines every weekend in the London stadium had to crown it up against Manchester city away from home. The Ghanaian has had a very successful season in the colors of West Ham as a player despite the general poor display by the entire West Ham team.
The final Premier League fixture was very intriguing especially at the top of the table. Manchester City who have won the league triple in a role wanted to make it 4 and set a new record while their closest rival, Arsenal was also desperate to end their 20 years league title drought.
2 clear points were separating the two English giants prior to the final fixture with Arsenal having better goal difference. This meant that, Arsenal had to win their final game against Everton and expect Manchester City to drop points and guess what. A Ghanaian had to do it for a Ghanaian brother in favor of Arsenal. Thomas Partey needed the title badly with Arsenal and needed Kudus to express his magical moves against Manchester City.
This was a huge task for kudus, considering the hot form of City but he was willing to fight hard for his brother and even said it in a post match interview.
The star boy never disappoints and it was yet another moment. He scored his final goal of the season with arguably the best goal of the entire 2023/2024 season though he couldn’t meet his target of depreciating City’s points in favor of his Ghanaian brother’s club.
West Ham Lost the match by conceding 3 goals, but the highlight of the game and the entire final Premier final fixture was a consolation goal from the star boy Kudus. He netted a cracker in a very tight situation by magically smashing an overhead kick from a corner to give West Ham something to cheer about.
Looking at his display this season, he must play for a bigger club next season. It is sad to witness such a conjuring performance ending in nothing. Kudus need a helping club to elevate his class in football practically.
