Kwesi Amewuga, a rising rapper, has been named the 2024 Unsung Artiste of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards The scheme declared him as the winner online on Saturday, May 27. Many admirers have praised the musician on social media for reaching this milestone.
The 25th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards will take place on Saturday, June 1 in Accra. Over 170 nominees are in line to receive 30 prizes, which will be distributed on the night.
Six young artists were nominated for this award, including Lali X Lola, Keeny Ice, Kwesi Amewuga, Sevenkizs, Kasar, and Alapta Wan.
The Unsung Category is an award program effort that supports and promotes the next generation of Ghanaian musicians.
