Man Arrested After Allegedly Killing Wife For Refusing Sex

A 40‑year‑old man, identified as Christopher Kabore, has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of his 31‑year‑old wife, Nadeye Kasore, in Sefwi Saa Kwasikrom near Bonsu Nkwanta–Nkyesenkro in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region of Ghana.

According to preliminary police reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, following a domestic disagreement between the couple. Investigators allege that Kabore stabbed his wife multiple times and subsequently slit her throat during the altercation. The suspect reportedly accused the deceased of refusing to engage in sexual relations for an extended period and of infidelity prior to the attack.

After the alleged assault, Kabore is reported to have attempted to take his own life but was unsuccessful. He was subsequently taken into custody and is currently assisting police with ongoing investigations at the Juaboso police station.

Following the discovery of the victim’s body, local authorities initially carried out burial procedures. On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, police ordered the exhumation of the remains for further forensic examination. The body has since been preserved at the Juaboso Government Hospital Mortuary pending additional analysis.

Both Kabore and Kasore were nationals of Burkina Faso and reportedly worked as farmers in the community where they had lived for more than three years. The police have confirmed that a full investigation is underway and that Kabore will be formally charged and presented before the Juaboso Magistrate’s Court as the legal process continues.
