Many Ghanaians Say They Do Not Regret Voting NDC As Living Conditions Improve
Many residents in parts of Twifo-Praso in the Central Region have expressed that they do not regret voting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general election, saying they are already experiencing positive changes in their everyday lives since the party assumed power. This sentiment was shared during interactions between community members and the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area.
According to the DCE, a number of local citizens said the current administration’s policies are beginning to reflect improvements in basic services and community development. They highlighted areas such as access to social amenities, local infrastructure projects, and improved delivery of services as reasons they feel satisfied with their choice at the polls. Community members also spoke about increased optimism for future economic opportunities and better support for farmers and traders.
The positive feedback, the DCE said, points to growing confidence in the government’s direction since the NDC won both the presidency and a parliamentary majority in the 2024 elections. Many residents said they believe the ongoing initiatives are helping to enhance their quality of life.
While opinions vary across the country, voices from this part of the Central Region suggest that some voters feel the democratic process is delivering tangible results that are improving living conditions. Observers say such feedback highlights the importance of public engagement and continued efforts to address social and economic needs.
