Marco Reus Vrs Toni Kroos, Who Is leaving Wembley And His Club With The Most Prestigious Club Trophy

It’s yet another legendary football night as Borussia Dortmund line up again the 14 times champions of Europe, Real Madrid at British’s iconic Wembley Stadium. This is actually the biggest night in the world of club football in 2023/2024 season happening tonight (1st June 2024).

Pressure is at its peak as both teams would wish to rap up their season with the most prestigious club football trophy.

Beyond the usual anticipated pressure, Marco Reus and Toni kroos chose the night to bid their farewell to their respective clubs which has given the game a unique flavor and interest all together

About two weeks ago, Tony Kroos announced his retirement at the end of the championships league final and the Euro 2024 nations tournament, while’s Marco Rues also decided to call his loyalty to Borussia Dortmund a journey. This means that both players will be battling for their final trophy for their respective clubs and it’s no other trophy than the UEFA Champions League at the Iconic Wembley stadium. What a way to say good bye!!!

Most pundits tip Real Madrid as the favorite especially with the situation of Toni Kroos involved. Tony has had a very decorated carrier and would be marvelous to crown it up with yet another silverware, but football as we know has always be a dicey puzzle. Zidane in 2006 World Cup dreamed to end his carrier in a similar fashion but ended up seeing his worse day.

Marco Reus on the other hand has also paid his dues in the game of football but with very limited trophies to affirm his legendary status. 2014 FIFA World Cup was his time to win big with the German national team but injury served him a sad objection. He has been very loyal to Dortmund by serving over a decade despite interest from elite clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, etc, and every loyal fan of the game would wish to see him crown his Dortmund carrier up with this huge trophies.

Every participant tonight deserves the prestigious trophy but Withope feels Marco Reus deserves it most.

Football is life and it must be proven tonight. Tony has had enough joy in football and wouldn’t be a big deal to see him tearing up in his last moment in the game.

On the other hand, Reus magnificent carrier needs a signature and tonight looks like his last change.

Let’s see how it goes, but for the purposes of fairness I stand with Marco Reus, one of Germany’s most underrated players.
