Medikal, the Ghanaian rapper, and his estranged wife, actress Fella Makafui, were recently summoned by the Nungua Traditional Council regarding a dispute over land documents. The Gborbu Wulomo-Shitse, the Overlord of the Gadangme State, requested both Medikal and Fella to present themselves at his palace along with their complete documentation to verify the legitimacy of the land ownership claims. This invitation was issued after land documents bearing their names surfaced on social media​.
The couple, who are currently undergoing a public and contentious divorce, have been at odds over various issues, including the ownership of their residence. Medikal claims he financed the construction of the house but included Fella’s name on the documents for the benefit of their daughter, Island Frimpong. Fella disputes this and intends to prove her financial contributions in court​. The Nungua Stool’s involvement aims to clarify these conflicting claims and determine the true ownership of the property amidst their ongoing separation.
