Nigerian actor Daniel Etim Effiong has sparked conversations on social media after sharing his views about the order of love and priorities within his family.
During a discussion on a podcast, the Nollywood star revealed that his relationship with his wife comes before his children when it comes to emotional priority in his household. According to him, maintaining a strong bond with his spouse is essential to building a stable and happy family.
Effiong explained that although he deeply loves his children, his marriage remains the foundation of the family. He noted that when the relationship between husband and wife is healthy, it creates a better environment for raising children and maintaining unity in the home.

Effiong also described marriage as a partnership built on shared commitment and responsibility. According to him, couples deliberately choose to build a life together and must therefore protect and nurture that relationship for the sake of the entire family.
The actor married media personality Toyosi Phillips in 2017, and the couple have since built a family together while maintaining active careers in media and entertainment.
