Ghanaian musician Mzbel has stated that pastor Fire Oja was arrested following a complaint she filed over comments he made about her. She said the pastor’s statements were defamatory and had the potential to damage her reputation.
According to Mzbel, the police invited Fire Oja for questioning regarding her complaint. He was briefly detained but later released. Mzbel said the legal process is ongoing and that the matter will eventually be addressed in court.
Fire Oja, however, has denied being arrested, claiming he was at home during the time in question. This conflicting account has drawn attention online and raised public interest in the case’s outcome.
Mzbel emphasized that her goal in taking legal action is to protect her reputation and not to target the pastor personally. Both parties’ supporters are now waiting for updates as the case progresses through the legal system.
