SIC Insurance Pays GH¢107.6 Million In Claims In 2025

SIC Insurance PLC has announced that it settled a total of GH¢107.6 million in insurance claims during the year 2025, underlining its financial strength and commitment to policyholders. This substantial payout reflects the company’s ability to meet its obligations across a wide range of insurance policies.

In a statement shared by Managing Director James Agyeinim Boateng, SIC said the high volume of claims paid underscores its solid reinsurance arrangements and liquidity position, which enable prompt settlement of claims and dependable support to clients when they face losses. He emphasised that paying valid claims is a key part of the insurer’s mission to protect individuals and businesses and help them recover quickly from unexpected setbacks.

According to SIC officials, the payouts covered various types of insurance policies the company underwrites. The firm’s leadership noted that prompt claims settlement is essential to building trust and demonstrating the value of insurance as a financial safety net for policyholders.

Mr Agyenim Boateng also highlighted that the company remains focused on strengthening its operations, ensuring that clients receive reliable and comprehensive coverage. He reiterated SIC’s commitment to continuously improve service delivery and expand its reach across Ghana.
