Actor Lil Win Arrested After Fatal Accident

Police from the Motor Traffic Department (MTTD) under the Manhyia Police Command arrested actor Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lil Win, shortly after he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital.

His arrest stems from the recent death of a 3-year-old boy in a crash involving the vehicle he was driving.

Following the tragic incident, the victims’ families raised their voices demanding justice. However, police said Lilwin’s arrest was delayed due to health issues.

A police car was parked outside the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and he was detained as soon as he was discharged by medical staff.

Background
Popular Ghanaian actor Lilwin was reportedly accelerating at a faster rate than usual when he crashed into a car carrying young Nana Yaw and his father Jacob Kofi Ampomah. The incident occurred in Kumasi, Amakom, hours before the premier of Lilwin’s film “A Country Called Ghana”.

Nana Yaw and his father were immediately taken to a nearby hospital and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where Nana Yaw sadly passed away.
