Lady Ophelia Alleges Fellow Gospel Singer Attempted To Introduce Her To “Certain Powers”

Ghanaian gospel musician Lady Ophelia has opened up about what she describes as a disturbing experience involving a colleague in the gospel music industry who allegedly tried to introduce her to what she referred to as “certain powers” as a means to advance her career.

Speaking in a recent interview, the singer recounted that the incident occurred during a phone conversation in the presence of her mother. According to her, the fellow gospel artiste suggested that embracing these “powers” would make her path to success easier and faster. Lady Ophelia explained that she immediately felt uncomfortable with the suggestion and rejected the idea without hesitation.

She emphasised that her music ministry is rooted firmly in her Christian faith and personal convictions, and she believes success should come through hard work, prayer, dedication, and divine grace rather than through questionable means. The gospel singer stated that she has always relied on God for guidance in her career and has no intention of compromising her spiritual principles for fame or recognition.

Lady Ophelia also used the opportunity to caution upcoming artistes about the pressures that sometimes exist within the entertainment industry. She noted that while many people see the glamour of music, few understand the challenges and temptations that can arise behind the scenes. According to her, it is important for young talents to remain grounded in their values and not allow desperation for success to lead them down the wrong path.

Although she did not mention the name of the colleague involved, her revelation has sparked conversations on social media about integrity, faith, and the realities of the music industry. Many of her supporters have praised her courage in speaking out and standing firm in her beliefs.

Lady Ophelia reaffirmed that her journey in gospel music will continue to reflect her devotion to God and her commitment to ministering through song, regardless of the obstacles she may face.
