The old man should just leave it for the kids cuz it’s evident that numbers don’t lie – Efia Odo shades stonebwoy

Socialite Efia Odo argues that an artist’s capacity to fill a stadium should not be used to determine who should win the Artist of the Year award.

The contender for Artiste of the Year at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards has dominated social media debates.

Because each musician in the category is deserving, music enthusiasts debate on who should win.

However, because Stonebwoy and King Promise defied the odds and took their music outside of Ghana, these two musicians are the subject of online debate.

Efia Odo added her voice to the ongoing debate, claiming that a person’s ability to fill a stadium is insufficient basis for crowning.

She claimed that despite repeatedly packing the Tamale Sports Stadium, Fancy Gadam has not been treated fairly throughout the years.

Her tweet said, “I believe it is because Shatta and Sark have won it twice, implying that he, too, wants it twice (I have not mentioned names).” The old man should just leave it to the kids because it’s clear that numbers do not lie. If you want, we can compare King Promise’s numbers to those of others. If performing at stadiums is a standard, then fancy gadam Sef should win AOTY, SIMPLE”.
