35 Year Old Woman Arrested After Gunfire Hits Rihanna’s Beverly Hills Mansion
A 35 year old woman has been arrested after allegedly firing multiple gunshots at the Beverly Hills mansion of global music star Rihanna in Los Angeles.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on Sunday, March 8, 2026, when the suspect allegedly opened fire at the luxury residence from a vehicle parked near the property. Authorities say several rounds were fired toward the mansion, with some bullets striking the gate and walls of the home.
Law enforcement officials later identified the suspect as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, a 35 year old woman believed to be from Florida. She was arrested shortly after the shooting and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police said the suspect allegedly used an AR-15 style semi automatic rifle and fired between seven and ten rounds toward the property during the attack. The gunfire reportedly occurred at around 1:15 p.m. local time, prompting emergency calls from nearby residents who heard the shots.
Reports indicate that Rihanna was inside the mansion at the time of the incident, though fortunately no injuries were recorded. The singer shares the residence with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children.
Investigators later recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the attack. The suspect was located and taken into custody without further incident, and her bail has reportedly been set at about $10.2 million.
Authorities have not yet determined a motive for the shooting, and the case is currently being handled by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division as investigations continue.
The shocking incident has raised security concerns around the singer’s home, though reports indicate that Rihanna and her family are safe following the attack.
