BREAKING NEWS: Ghana Police Arrest a Suspect with Illegal Firearms and Ammunition

The Ghana Police Service has detained a suspect identified as Abdulai Gomda at Tamale in the Northern Region for possessing firearms and ammunition without the requisite legal authorization.

The arrest occurred at the Datoyili barrier in Tamale on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024. He was found with two SMG rifles with six rounds of 9MM ammunition and two empty magazines.

 

The individual in question is currently in police custody and providing assistance to the police in their investigations.
