A student of Nkawkaw Senior High School (NKWASCO) has been hospitalised after reportedly being attacked with a cutlass by a church security guard in Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred on the premises of a church where the student had reportedly gone with friends. According to reports, the situation escalated into a confrontation that ended with the security guard allegedly attacking the student with a cutlass.
The victim sustained serious injuries during the attack and was quickly rushed to a nearby health facility for emergency medical treatment. Sources say the student is currently receiving care while medical personnel monitor his condition.
