KK Fosu Blames Abusuapanin Tupac For Musicians’ Absence At Daddy Lumba’s Funeral

Veteran Ghanaian musician KK Fosu has commented on why several musicians did not attend the funeral of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, attributing the issue to the head of the extended family, Abusuapanin Tupac.

In an interview on Akoma FM, KK Fosu explained that the funeral arrangements were rushed, which he believes contributed to the low turnout of some of Daddy Lumba’s colleagues. He argued that better planning could have ensured more artists were present to pay their respects.

KK Fosu also pointed out that disagreements among family members affected the funeral’s organization. He suggested that unity within the family is essential for such significant events, and a more coordinated approach would have made the funeral longer and more celebrated.

According to KK Fosu, proper preparation and cohesion could have allowed the late musician’s colleagues and fans to fully honour his life and legacy.
